How it works

Quick answer: you submit URLs, we push them to search engines through IndexNow within minutes, and record a submission receipt for each one — when it was pushed and what IndexNow answered. If a push fails, the credit comes back automatically. We never promise guaranteed indexing — no honest tool can.

1. Submit — 1 credit per URL

Paste up to 500 URLs at once on the submit page, or check up to 50 for free on the checker without an account. Each submitted URL costs 1 credit and gets a submission receipt. New accounts get 10 free credits; paid packs are one-time purchases ($9 for 100, $29 for 500, $79 for 2,000 credits) and credits never expire.

2. Push — IndexNow

Submitted URLs are grouped by host and pushed through IndexNow, the push protocol launched in October 2021 by Microsoft and Yandex. Participating engines — Bing, Yandex, Naver and others — are notified the moment a page exists, instead of finding it on their next crawl. We prove ownership with a key file hosted at /.well-known/indexnow/<key>.txt. IndexNow speeds up discovery; it does not override an engine's decision about whether to index the page.

3. The Google side — no fake submission

Google does not participate in IndexNow and has no bulk submission API for general pages — its Indexing API only covers job-posting and broadcast pages, and the old sitemap ping was deprecated in 2023. So for Google we do not fake a submission. The honest path is: submit your sitemap in Google Search Console (we tell you exactly that in the product), let IndexRocket push the same URLs through IndexNow to the engines that take it, and check indexation yourself in Search Console — IndexRocket does not claim to know whether a page is indexed.

4. Receipts — what your dashboard shows

Every submitted URL ends up queued, pushed, or failed — with the push time and IndexNow's answer on the receipt, exportable as CSV. A push that keeps failing is refunded 1 credit automatically. What the dashboard never shows is an indexation verdict: no tool can know that without your Search Console account, and we do not ask for it.

How index checks work

Reachability is always a real, live check: we fetch the URL and confirm it responds. The free checker's indexation verdict is a rough estimate based on a heuristic, labelled as such on every result — not a fact. Only Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools can confirm whether a page is indexed. We would rather say "estimate" than invent a result.

5. Refunds

The only automatic credit refund is for a push that fails: after repeated attempts, 1 credit goes back to your wallet — no ticket, no email to support. Refunded credits stay in your wallet until you use them. Full rules are in the Refund Policy.

What we do not do

  • Guarantee indexing, ranking, or traffic — indexing is the search engine's decision.
  • Fake a Google submission — no legitimate "submit to Google" button exists for general pages.
  • Sell subscriptions — one-time point packs only, credits never expire.
  • Share or sell your data — see the Privacy Policy.
Try it free: check up to 50 URLs with no account, or sign up for 10 free credits.
